Marilyn - Mental Health Nurse

I am a Credentialed Member of the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses and have over 20 years of experience working in mental health services both in Australia and in the United Kingdom.

My Knowledge enables me to work therapeutically with clients and their families with various mental health issues.

My areas of interest are:

• Adult mental health in a primary health care setting.
• Non directive pregnancy counselling (Perinatal mental health).
• Anxiety and Depression.
• Crisis assessment and intervention.

I am also a trained Applied Behavioural Analysis Therapist, which enables me to work intensively with children in the Autistic Spectrum.

I am about to undertake further studies in Psychology, with a longer term aim of becoming a Clinical Psychologist.

Marilyn is an approved ATAPS and Medicare (EPC) provider.

Lisa - Mental Health Nurse

I am a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse through the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses and have nearly twenty years of experience working in mental health.

I completed my Bachelor of Nursing from Monash University in 1997.  I then began working in Mental Health nursing and completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing in 1999.  Since then I have worked in a variety of fields of Mental Health nursing both in Australia and in the UK.  I completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Young People’s Mental Health through Melbourne University in 2009.

My experience enables me to work therapeutically with people with mental health problems and their families.
